Ethics watchdog pushes for more power to punish lawbreakers

Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson was due to appear before the Ethics Committee today (Jan 30) as the start of a five year review of the Conflict of Interest Act.  It didn’t happen but Ms Dawson obligingly released her initial proposed comments to the committee.
