What Comes After Pain?

Income inequality hurting Hamilton

Ashley Smith inquest: Corrections head admits overreliance on segregation 

Don Head, Commissioner of Corrections Canada, appeared before the Ashley Smith inquest and acknowledged that the Service relies too much on segregation.  CSC lawyers tried to prevent his appearance.  He claimed to know nothing about the instructions given to guards but that instructions to ignore until obvious distress would have been unlawful.    http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2013/10/16/ashley_smith_inquest_top_prison_official_to_testify_at_inquiry_wednesday.html

Immigration activists focus on prison divestment

Study: Second generation immigrants commit more crimes than their parents

Immigration Court at De Gaulle Airport Completes First Hearing

New Vt. Supreme Court justice seeks reconciliation
